What is a Vape Coil?

A coil is a heating element found in a pod or a tank. It is a wire (Kanthal, stainless steel, mesh, or ceramic) wrapped around the wick or cotton (Japanese). The cotton absorbs the vape liquid, which is then converted into vapour that you inhale from your vape device. They are available in different resistances (above or below 1.0 ohms). This resistance allows you to choose MTL, RDTL, or DTL vaping style as per your preferences. 

What are the Different Types of Vape Coils?

Coils for vapers are categorised into different types. The coil type is determined by its structure, material, and resistance. You can explore the following in our stock:

When Do You Need to Replace Your Coils?

Coil replacement depends on individual vaping habits. Change the coil when you notice a drop in vapour production, a burnt taste, and a weak flavour. Vape coils need to be replaced after 1-2 weeks. Time can vary depending on the following factors:

• If you’re a heavy vaper, you need to replace the atomisers between four and six days. 
  
• If you’re a medium user, their coils can last up to 14 days. 
  
• If you’re a casual vaper who vapes more often, your vape kit's heating element can last up to three weeks. 

Best E-liquids for the Vape Coils

Choosing the right e-liquid for your coil is essential for good flavour, smooth vapour, and longer coil life. The VG/PG ratio directly affects how well a coil wicks and performs.

High VG (70VG or higher)

Thick and smooth, high-VG e-liquids are best for sub-ohm coils. They produce dense clouds and work well with larger wicking ports.

50/50 VG/PG
